Steelers linebacker James Harrison and safety Ryan Clark took a shot at the Patriots immediately following their Super Bowl loss to the Giants. New England linebacker Dane Fletcher is the first to fire back.

Harrison and Clark both made Spygate references on Twitter after Eli Manning led the G-Men to victory on Sunday.

"Told you," Harrison tweeted, "cheaters never win!!!!!!!!!"

Clark, meanwhile, posted on his Twitter account, "0-2 post spy gate! Just saying!! Cant spell ELIte w/o Eli!!"

Well, it took a couple of days (probably due to traveling and what not), but Fletcher couldn't let the Steelers' cheap shots fly.

Fletcher issued the following tweet early Wednesday morning:

Fletcher certainly has a point, as the Steelers — particularly Harrison — are often called out for their recklessness. It's part of what makes them a good team, but it's also part of what makes them hated by some rival fan bases.

We'll see if the social media throwdown goes any further, but for now, we'll call it a draw — although Fletcher's team will start next season as the reigning AFC champions (just saying).
