The New York Giants are Super Bowl champions. At least according to the team's website.

The team's official site accidentally ran an ad on Saturday that boldly proclaimed the Giants were champs. The ad was for Super Bowl champions gear, including hats and T-shirts, and it featured an image of the Lombardi Trophy.

Both the Giants and Patriots have been pretty tame when it comes to trash talking this week, so the website miscue is sure to garner plenty of attention. Giants defensive end Chris Canty did tell New York fans to get ready for a parade following the Super Bowl, but even he didn't come right out and say, "The Giants are Super Bowl champions."

Tom Brady and Co. probably don't need any extra motivation for Sunday's big game, but hey, it can't hurt.

Check out the ad that ran on Saturday in the photo below.
