Jeremy Lin is making a lot of people in the NBA look bad these days — from opponents, to the other 29 teams that passed on him before he burst onto the scene with the New York Knicks. One of those people is owning up to his mistake.

Rockets general manager Daryl Morey admitted that he made a mistake waiving the point guard earlier this season to make room on the team’s roster for Samuel Dalembert.

“We should have kept [Lin,]” Morey posted on his Twitter account in response to a comment. “Did not know he was this good.Anyone who says they knew misleading U.

“Finally,” he continued, “really happy for [Lin.] Very hard working, nice, & humble. He has a great, great future.”
