Jeff Gordon is one of the most successful NASCAR drivers of all time. With 85 career wins, Gordon has had numerous races to remember during his distinguished career.

Saturday’s Budweiser Shootout was not one of them.

Gordon was involved in a horrific crash at Daytona after colliding with Kurt Busch with two laps to go. After hitting Busch’s car, Gordon found himself upside down, and he flipped several times in what was the worst crash of his career.

Gordon was able to exit his car and walk away without any injury, but it was definitely one of the most terrifying moments in the 40-year-old star’s career.

The crash was the third wreck of the night in a race that was eventually won by Busch’s brother, Kyle.
