Jerry Sandusky has spoken out, claiming that the child sex allegations made against him have prevented the former Penn State assistant coach from meeting with loved ones.
Sandusky has also been stunned at how fast people have labeled him a villain, according to an article from the Chicago Sun-Times.
"All of a sudden these people turn on me," Sandusky said. "It's been difficult for me to understand."
The former coach also laments about how the allegations stop him from doing simple activities, such as passing time with his dog.
"Now I can't take my dog on my deck and throw out biscuits to him," Sandusky said.
Sandusky has asked for more freedom to move and to have visits from his grandchildren while he awaits his trial for numerous counts of child molestation.
Prosecutors want to deny Sandusky his requests, stating that his house has not been safe for children for 15 years, exactly the length of time that Sandusky has been accused of committing his crimes.
The 68-year-old Sandusky is set to stand trial on May 14.
