Grantland.com columnist Bill Simmons developed the phrase "The Tyson Zone" a while back with the help from one of his readers.

A reader emailed Simmons to talk about Ron Artest and the reader said that Artest had entered a certain zone among people who "if a friend said, 'Did you hear about (fill in a celebrity's name) just (fill in the insane behavior: urinated on a police officer, began breeding unicorns, etc.)?' I would have no problem believing it was true."

Simmons named it "The Tyson Zone" in honor of all of the bizarre things Mike Tyson has done over the years. Well, Tyson was at it again on Wednesday, getting in the zone during halftime of the Knicks-Kings game.

MSG's Jill Martin tracked down the former heavyweight champ for a quick interview, and the result was, well, awesome.

Among the discussion points were Tyson's frivolous spending habits, his infamous bite of Evander Holyfield's ear ("That ear thing was pretty heavy") and his pigeons. Seriously.

Check it out below, but be warned, there is one naughty word (as well as a hilarious reaction from Tyson) around the 29-second mark.
