Ozzie Guillen Uses Some Colorful Language to Explain His One Rule Regarding National AnthemBobby Valentine has made news in Red Sox camp by instituting a new ban on booze in the Boston clubhouse. Another new manager, on the other hand, isn't one for making rules — except for one big exception.

New Miami Marlins manager Ozzie Guillen is one of the bigs' most colorful managers, thanks in large part to his obscenity-spewing mouth. He went off on another rant Tuesday and explained his one real team rule in the process.

"Stand up for the national anthem and don't be late," Guillen said, according to The Palm Beach Post. "One thing that really pisses me off, if you're not there for the national anthem. That's the only rule I have. If you can go by that easy one, then we've got problems."

Naturally, he wasn't done there, and he continued to explain in a way that would have made George Steinbrenner cringe.

"I don't care if you go there buck-naked with your pants [expletive] down your ass, your hair down to your legs. Just win games. When you win games you look cool. When you lose games, you look dirty."

Show up to the anthem and be punctual is all takes, the fiery skipper says.

"You're late for the [expletive] national anthem? The national anthem is [expletive] 10 minutes before the game starts. We're going to start in 10 minutes and you're late?"

Guillen also said that it's a matter of respecting the flag and respecting your teammates.

"A lot of people have been killed to make this country free for us," he said, according to the Post. "You should be there for at least two minutes. Respect that, especially if you come from another [darn] country, you should be there an hour before … I think it looks good for baseball when you are in the stands and you see the team respect the national anthem. Kids can see that, the respect."

That, and winning.
