Vote: When Will Bill Belichick Retire?Bill Belichick was recently asked whether or not he would retire if the Patriots were to win the Super Bowl this season. Belichick didn’t give a clear answer, but at this point in his distinguished career that shouldn’t be surprising.

However, the retirement question does bring up something to ponder. Just how long will Bill Belichick remain coach of the Patriots?

Belichick has had one of the most successful runs in NFL history during his tenure with the Patriots. With a regular season record of 139-53 and a postseason record of 16-5, Belichick has turned the Patriots into a premier franchise.

Of course, Belichick has had the fortune to have one of the greatest quarterbacks in NFL history with Tom Brady. Belichick and Brady have become the most successful quarterback-coaching duo of all time. They have become the two most iconic figures in a franchise that only had minimal success before their arrival.

Brady and Belichick have delivered three Super Bowl victories to New England, and on Sunday, they will shoot for a fourth. It will put Brady with Joe Montana and Terry Bradshaw as the only quarterbacks with four rings. Belichick will join Chuck Noll as the only head coach to win four Super Bowl titles.

It would be difficult to imagine Patriots football without one of those two, and it would only seem fitting that the two end their time in New England at the same time, despite the fact that it might cause Patriots fans to go into a full blown panic.

No one knows the future of these two future Hall of Famers. Brady wants to continue to play for the foreseeable future. Will Belichick stick around with him?
