Bobby Valentine Says Red Sox Players Will Ride Team Bus to Away Spring Training Games Instead of Driving ThemselvesAfter suffering a late season collapse that cost the Boston Red Sox a playoff spot, new manager Bobby Valentine isn't wasting any time making changes.

According to Valentine, every Red Sox player will be required to ride on the team bus to and from their away games this spring training.

"Buses. Yeah, buses. Unless there's an exception, someone has to pick their wife up at the airport along the way. There's always exceptions to rules," Valentine told The Associated Press. "The manager and coaches will drive and at times there might be a player there because at times there might be a 'B' game that I'm going to watch and the bus leaves early."

In an attempt to get the Sox back to World Series contenders, Valentine hopes the move can boost the camaraderie in the club house. With a long road ahead, only time will tell if the Sox can get back to the top of the AL East leaderboard.
