Report: Rams to Trade No. 2 Overall NFL Draft Pick, Expected to Be Robert Griffin IIIRobert Griffin III may not be the only one to profit off his sterling performance at the NFL draft combine.

The St. Louis Rams, owners of the No. 2 overall pick in April's NFL draft, will trade the pick for what should be a franchise-altering haul, ESPN's Adam Schefter reports.

Griffin cemented his status as one of the top two picks (and assured himself a lucrative payday) with his 4.41 official time in the 40-yard dash and 39-inch vertical jump at the combine in Indianapolis. Either he or Stanford quarterback Andrew Luck is expected to be the top pick in the draft, with the other going second.

The Rams already have 2010 Offensive Rookie of the Year Sam Bradford at quarterback and could garner multiple picks by trading down, according to ESPN.

The Rams have reportedly already had discussions with Cleveland at No. 4, Washington at No. 6 and Miami at No. 8 about trading for the No. 2 choice.
