Rob Gronkowski Among 11 Patriots Listed as Questionable for Super Bowl XLVIINDIANAPOLIS — Patriots tight end Rob Gronkowski has been officially listed as questionable for Super Bowl XLVI due to a left ankle injury.

Gronkowski was a limited participant in Thursday's practice and Friday's walkthrough. He missed four practices during the two weeks leading up to the Super Bowl after suffering the injury in the AFC Championship.

A questionable listing means, by the NFL's official wording, there is a 50-50 chance he will not play.

Gronkowski wasn't alone, though. Ten other Patriots were also listed questionable: offensive lineman Marcus Cannon (ankle), safety Patrick Chung (knee), linebacker Dane Fletcher (thumb), defensive lineman Kyle Love (ankle), left guard Logan Mankins (knee), linebacker Rob Ninkovich (hip), linebacker Brandon Spikes (knee), tackle Sebastian Vollmer (flu, foot, back), wide receiver Wes Welker (knee) and linebacker Tracy White (abdomen).

Five players were listed as probable: wide receiver Deion Branch (knee), center Dan Connolly (groin), safety James Ihedigbo (shoulder), left tackle Matt Light (flu) and wide receiver Matthew Slater (shoulder).
