Losing a championship is difficult. Just ask the city of Vancouver. Now, New England is dealing with the heartbreak of losing Super Bowl XLVI to the Giants.

The students at UMass-Amherst are having an emotional time of it as well, especially considering the many Giants and Patriots fans who may live in the area or attend the university. In addition, rooting for UMass alumni Victor Cruz and James Ihedigbo would be a conflict since one ended up a winner and the other a loser after the game.

Riots have reportedly broken out on campus, with students clashing against police outfitted in riot gear. In one video, police can be seen forcing a crowd to disperse with police on horseback ushering students out of a large courtyard area.

Check out some footage taken from those on the scene and then posted to YouTube.
