Somewhere, Tony Hawk is picking his jaw up off the floor.

After the legendary skateboarder finally completed the first 900 in the sport's history during the 1999 X Games, his feat was one-upped on Monday… by a sixth-grader.

Tom Schaar, 12, of Malibu Calif. landed the first-ever 1080 — three complete rotations — before any other boarder, professional or amateur. Schaar completed the 1080 at a skate park in Tehachapi, Calif., on just his fifth try.

"It was the hardest trick I've ever done, but it was easier than I thought," Schaar told ESPN.com on Friday.

Skateboarding fans, keep an eye on this talented youngster. He just may have the stuff to go pro in the future.
