Red Sox second baseman Dustin Pedroia never seems to relinquish the chance to get a good personal dig in on someone.

He made no exception Tuesday night when he joined NESN Red Sox broadcasters Don Orsillo and Jerry Remy for an eighth-inning interview during the Sox’ spring training game against Toronto. This time, Boston’s play-by-play man became Pedroia’s latest victim.

“Don, your job — let’s be honest. I can do your job in my sleep,” Pedroia said. “I don’t know how the RemDawg does it, man, putting up with you.”

Pedroia made sure to get some other jabs in before the interview was finished, adding that Orsillo looked like actor George Hamilton because of his new tan.

The Sox went on to lose the game 9-2, with Pedey going 1-for-3 on the evening.
