It would appear that some NBA players have finally gotten tired of Blake Griffin's flashy dunks and celebrations. Jason Smith, a member of the New Orleans Hornets, took out some frustration on Griffin on Thursday night.

As the Clippers were on a fastbreak, Smith raced to catch Griffin and body-checked him to the ground.

It was obvious that the hit was illegal and totally unnecessary. Smith was immediately ejected from the game and the NBA ruled on Friday that Smith would be suspended for the next two games, according to a report from ESPN.

Interestingly enough, the Hornets are slated to play the Clippers again this week. The two-game ban will keep Smith on the bench for that contest, so there are no chances that Griffin and Smith are involved in any other altercations.
