Jets Receiver Scotty McKnight Relinquishes No. 15 to Tim Tebow, Considers Giving Up Number a Blessing

Scotty McKnight isn't exactly your household name. But he's making news because of his willingness to accomodate the Jets' newest signal caller.

McKnight happily handed over No. 15 to Tim Tebow, who sported the number while playing with the Broncos. And not only is McKnight willing to pass over the number, but he couldn't be more thrilled to do so.

According to TMZ, McKnight thinks that the number is cursed, and he's pumped to start fresh with a new number after getting bumped to the practice squad last season and eventually tearing his ACL.

Minor move? Yes. But Tebow would certainly look even more strange in a Jets jersey if it didn't have No. 15 across the chest.
