Bobby Valentine seems by all accounts to be a friendly guy, which should come as no surprise to those who watched him on ESPN last year. Now, as the Red Sox manager, he’s still that same friendly guy, only now he’s out there in the dugout, not the broadcast booth shaking plenty of hands and congratulating players.
After Tuesday night’s game against the Yankees, Valentine was spotted in the dugout offering a handshake to Red Sox starter Felix Doubront after a solid performance.
That’s not the only place he might look for some handshakes, though.
