Peter Crouch Scores Candidate for Premier League's Best Goal of Season (Video)Peter Crouch is six feet, seven inches tall. He scores so many goals with his head, people often forget he's got good skills with his feet.

The Stoke City striker scored a goal that will serve as an ever-lasting reminder of his ability on Saturday.

In the 59th minute, Jermaine Pennant played a header to his towering teammate, who was standing 22 yards away from goal near the right corner of the penalty area.

Crouch controlled the ball with his foot and flicked it up to himself. He then swiveled and hit a thundering volley past Joe Hart (arguably the best goalkeeper in the league). The former Liverpool player told ESPN he'll remember that goal in the future.

''It's up there with the best goals I've scored,'' Crouch said. ''I had a good chance and am really pleased with the goal and the general performance."

Stoke held Premier League title contenders Manchester City to a 1-1 draw in league play.
