The Peyton Manning hunt appears to be just about over.

ESPN.com reports that the former Indianapolis Colts quarterback has agreed to join the Denver Broncos. According to Chris Mortensen and Adam Schefter, Manning informed John Elway and the Broncos of his decision on Monday morning.

According to ESPN, Manning has directed his agent to begin negotiatons with the Broncos on a contract.

"Peyton Manning will become the next quarterback of the Denver Broncos, barring unexpected snag in contract talks," Schefter tweeted as the news broke.

"Peyton Manning called John Elway this morning to tell him he's looking forward to coming to play for him," Schefter added.

Manning's decision means that the Broncos will now look to trade quarterback Tim Tebow, ESPN reports.
