The Patriots have continued to load up on special teams in the opening 24 hours of free agency.

Linebacker Tracy White re-signed with New England on Wednesday, according to a source. White has been an integral member of the Patriots' special teams units since 2010, and he was second on the Pats with 14 special teams tackles (11 solo) last season.

Linebacker and special teamer Niko Koutouvides reached an agreement over the weekend though the news didn't surface until Tuesday, and the Patriots are also expected to re-sign special teams captain Matthew Slater. New England will host safety Steve Gregory for a visit Wednesday night, and he also has a strong reputation on special teams.
