"Clipper Darrell" has been a mainstay for the Los Angeles Clippers for 14 years, but his run as the best fan in the business — well, other than New York Knicks No. 1 fan Spike Lee – may be all but over.

Darrell Bailey wrote on his blog that he was offered season tickets for two seasons if he would not wear the team colors, red and blue, or be affiliated with the team in anyway. He refused this offer and the Clippers took action, according to The Boston Globe.

"In a conversation with an authoritative and tenured Clippers' executive last week, he was asked again to either consult with the team on all public appearances and/or commercial ventures, or stop undertaking those opportunities representing himself inappropriately," the team reportedly said in a statement. "His response was an offer to stop representing himself commercially in that way and his offer was accepted in principle."

Clipper Darrell saga could be coming to a close, and Bleacher Report put together a teaser video of how his time with the Clips may come to an end. Check out the video below.
