Bill Belichick Has to Be Excited About Patriots' Prospects After Bolstering Defense at NFL Draft
The Patriots surprised some people at this weekend's NFL draft when they didn't use one or both of their first-round picks to trade down and instead traded up in the first round.

Bill Belichick and his crew instead moved up to grab Chandler Jones out of Syracuse and Dont'a Hightower from Alabama to help fill some holes on the defensive side of the ball.

In fact, of the seven picks the Patriots ended up securing (there was more trading), they used the first six on defensive players.
