BOSTON -– The Bruins will once again have two extra skaters on the ice for warm-ups before Game 2 of their Eastern Conference quarterfinal series with Washington on Saturday.

David Krejci will be among them, and is expected to play after being hit by a falling pane of glass during the celebration of Thursday's 1-0 overtime win in Game 1. Krejci missed practice Friday with a sore neck, but said he planned to play on Saturday.

Just before the game, Claude Julien confirmed that Krejci would be among the Bruins out on the Garden ice for the pregame warm-up.

"You'll see him on the ice in the warm-up," Julien said when asked about Krejci's status.

Barring an unexpected last-minute setback, Krejci will remain between Milan Lucic and Rich Peverley on the Bruins' top line. Boston's entire lineup is likely to remain the same after winning Game 1. That would keep Jordan Caron and Mike Mottau as the healthy scratches.

Backup goalie Tuukka Rask will definitely remain out, but he continues to make progress recovering from his abdominal/groin injury.

"He's come along real well," Julien said. "He's at the point where it's more about strength and conditioning…Everything is going in the right direction."

Adam McQuaid (upper body) is also improving, but will remain out.

"He's started to feel better," Julien said. "And we're hoping that continues."

Capitals coach Dale Hunter stated before the game that Washington will not make any lineup changes for Game 2. That leaves former Bruin Mike Knuble as a healthy scratch again.

Dan O'Halloran and Tom Kowal will be the referees, with Steve Miller and David Brisebois working the lines.
