You just never know who you might see on Patriots' Day at Fenway Park.

While Gino Cappelletti and some former Boston Patriots were on the field for a pregame ceremony, Republican presidential hopeful Mitt Romney was soaking up the action from the grandstand on Monday.

Romney was seen arriving at Fenway Park through the players' parking lot roughly two hours before first pitch, as he was scheduled to do an interview with ABC's Diane Sawyer.

The former Massachusetts governor then made his way to some seats as a casual fan during Monday's matinee showdown between the Red Sox and Rays. Maybe he's trying to win some brownie points with members of Red Sox Nation, or maybe he just wanted to enjoy the nice weather. Whatever the case may be, he seemed to fit right in during some day baseball.

Check out Romney's seats in the photo below.
