Robin Ventura was a fiery player during his 17-year MLB career. But the now 44-year-old has changed up his approach and his attitude in his new gig as manager of the Chicago White Sox.

The White Sox have gotten off to a 10-8 start to the season and Ventura looks to have full control of the clubhouse, something former manager Ozzie Guillen seemed unable to do in recent years.

Ventura sat down with NESN's Jenny Dell during Red Sox First Pitch to discuss the intricacies of the new job and how he's been walking the line between manager and player.

Check out the video above to see Ventura discuss his new role.
