Vote: Is a Perfect Game the Most Impressive Single-Game Feat in Baseball? In every sport, there are certain single-game milestones that cause fans to take a break from whatever they are doing to just say, “Wow!”

In football, the 500 Club — 500 or more passing yards in a single game — is a fantastic benchmark. Only 11 quarterbacks in history of the NFL have reached this milestone, and Patriots quarterback Tom Brady just so happens to be one of them.

The NBA has the 30 points/30 rebound milestone, which was reached a few weeks ago by Lakers center Andrew Bynum. Bynum joined Minnesota’s Kevin Love as the only two players to hit the 30-rebound mark in the last 12 years.

As seen above, for most sports it is pretty clear which single-game feats are the most impressive, but for the sport of baseball, things can get a little tricky.

Chicago White Sox pitcher Phillip Humber on Saturday became the 21st pitcher in major league history to throw an elusive perfect game.

While a perfect game is clearly one of the most impressive milestones in baseball, is it the most impressive?

Other single-game feats come to mind, such as a four home run games, most recently done back in 2003 by Carlos Delgado. Then there’s a six-hit game or an unassisted triple play, which also seem mindblowing.

And of course, there is stealing home, made famous by Jackie Robinson in Game 1 of the 1955 World Series.
