For all those ladies wondering whether Wes Welker looked just as dreamy in junior high, the answer is now on Twitter.

The Patriots wide receiver tweeted a photo of himself when he was in seventh grade on Tuesday.

He's wearing similar colors to the current New England home jerseys but is off several digits from his usual No. 83. He may also be just about the same build as his current 5-foot-9, 185-pound playing size.

Welker played his high school ball at Heritage Hall High School in Oklahoma City, where he was a standout in his junior year as the team won the 2A State Football championship. There's no word on where he used his skills in middle school, though.

Welker had to fight his way onto a college team and into the NFL, a history he has to be remembering this week as he tangles with the Patriots over a new contract.

Who knows what Welker was feeling when this photo was snapped.
