Vote: Which Former Red Sox Player Was Your Favorite at Fenway Park 100th Anniversary Ceremony? With hundreds of former Red Sox players on hand to celebrate Fenway Park's 100th anniversary on Friday, it was hard for Red Sox Nation to choose which player they enjoyed seeing walk back onto the field the most.

As expected, Pedro Martinez recieved a large ovation from those in attendance, probably the loudest for all 2004 World Series team members who were present. And after leading the toast to Fenway with former teammate Kevin Millar, fans seemed to enjoy his presence even more.

Nomar Garciaparra got a big round of applause with his entrance, but let's face it, it's Nomar. Could Red Sox fans have expected anything else?

Older generations of fans felt the nostalgia come over them when Hall-of-Famers Jim Rice, Carlton Fisk and Carl Yastrzemski took the field. Fellow Red Sox legend Dwight Evans joined them in the celebration as well. Having four members of the 1975 Word Series team on the field simultaneously is an awesome sight, let alone seeing almost every past living Red Sox player.

And last, but not least, was the ultimate tear-jerker of the afternoon, when Jason Varitek and Tim Wakefield escorted the two elder statesmen of the Red Sox — Bobby Doerr and Johnny Pesky — out to second base.

So with all of this living baseball history on the field Friday, which former Red Sox player was your favorite to see return to Fenway Park?

Who was your favorite former Red Sox player to see at the Fenway Park 100th anniversary ceremony?
