Pranks are fun. They're even more fun when the victim is deathly afraid of snakes.

Astros bullpen catcher Javier Bracamonte has a deep-rooted fear of snakes, so the team decided to take advantage of it and scare the living daylights out of him.

A rubber snake was placed in the bucket of batting practice baseballs that Bracamonte was using, with the hopes that he'd grab it and be terrified. That mission was accomplished, as the hilarious prank visibly rattled Bracamonte.

Bracamonte booted the rubber snake upon grabbing it, clearly an indication of just how severe his phobia is.

Bracamonte discussed the incident after, and it looked like he was still a bit distraught. Check it all out in the video below, courtesy of MLB.com.
