The injury bug bites again.

Just when the Red Sox looked to be turning a corner with their on-field performance, it looks like injuries could be plaguing them yet again. Cody Ross was diagnosed with a broken foot on Monday and hot-hitting Ryan Sweeney continues to have lingering concussion symptoms that will keep him sidelined as well.

But while Boston fights off the injury epidemic, one Red Sox prospect will be given the chance to have an important impact on the team. Che-Hsuan Lin will be making his first career start for the Red Sox in Baltimore on Monday night, looking to make up for the loss of Ross’ bat in the lineup.

Clay Buchholz (4-2, 7.77) will be taking the hill for Boston, as he tries to lock down his fifth win of the season. Right-hander Tommy Hunter (2-2, 4.78) will be on the bump for the Orioles with hopes of getting the O’s back on track, after a grim loss in Washington on Sunday.
