Cubs Ball Girl Refuses to Give Out Her Phone Number to Fan (Video)

Asking someone for their phone number can take courage, and rejection is never easy. Most people also don't need to worry about getting rejected too publicly, either, although one's friend's might giggle when watching the rejection from across the room.

One Chicago Cubs fan was unlucky with his advances towards a ball girl at the Chicago Cubs game, according to some investigate work by ESPN's Sarah Spain.

During a recent game, the ball girl was spotted writing something on a piece of paper, fueling speculation by announcer Bob Brenley that she was giving out her phone number, possibly even to a Braves pitcher. Unfortunately, it was quite the opposite.
