Eden Hazard Takes Talents to Twitter to Confirm Chelsea FC MoveEden Hazard ended what could have been the summer’s longest-running transfer saga. The Belgian winger revealed on the social network that he will join Chelsea FC next season.

Hazard, 21, had given a number of hints about his next move, but remained coy over such trivial matters as specifics and details. The Lille star won Ligue 1’s (French first division) “Player of the Year” award for the second-straight season earlier this month. He has been scouted by Europe’s top teams, but he made it clear that the Premier League would be his next destination.

“It will anyway be Manchester City, Manchester United or Chelsea,” the Mirror reports he told HLN. “The decision will depend on the amount of play I would see and the position where I would play.

“Not everyone can say that he can make a choice between the three top clubs.”

Hazard had reportedly agreed to personal terms with all three clubs. He told the media that he would decide on his future before the start of his summer vacation, ending months of speculation.

He leaves Lille as arguably its greatest-ever player. He led the club to the Ligue 1 title in the 2010-11 season. He followed that up with a scintillating 2011-12 campaign that saw him score 20 goals and assist on 22 more.

Neither Chelsea nor Lille has made an official announcement.
