Rihanna didn’t need to see the face of Jesus in her soup to believe in a higher power. Partying with Didier Drogba and a few of his Chelsea teammates was enough of a religious experience to convert the pop star.

Rihanna, a notorious party animal, was in London last weekend to see Jay-Z and Kanye West perform. She missed her flight, which was scheduled for Sunday morning, because she woke up at 9 a.m. still drunk from the night before.

The 24-year-old decided to spend another day in the capital, making the most of her time. She went to West and Jay-Z’s Sunday night concert, and the rappers even invited her on stage to perform with them. She then hit the town, ending up at London’s exclusive nightclub Boujis. It was there that benders collided, according to the Daily Star.

Drogba and some of his Chelsea teammates celebrated their victory in the UEFA Champions League by partying for 30 straight hours. It started Saturday night in Munich, Germany and continued through the flight back to London. The Blues then celebrated in London, and Boujis was their venue of choice.

At some point in the night, Rihanna spotted Drogba — who was joined by Raul Meireles, Jose Bosingwa, Salomon Kalou and Michael Essien — and joined them at their table. The Chelsea hero and pop singer hit it off and reportedly danced the night away. She tweeted her pleasure at meeting the man whose goals gave Chelsea its first Champions League title.
