Red Sox Need to Be Much Better at Fenway Park If They're Going to Turn Things Around
The Red Sox are used to pounding teams into submission upon welcoming them to the cozy confines of Fenway Park. Through the season's first month and some change, however, it's been the Sox who look like they need to tap out when playing in front of the Fenway Faithful.

Bobby Valentine's bunch returns home after losing two of three in Kansas City to open a six-game homestand against the Indians and Mariners. In past years, it would be looked at as the perfect cure to the early-season woes, but this year, Fenway has been anything but friendly to the home team.

The Sox open this homestand with a 4-10 record at Fenway on the season, a mark that undoubtedly must improve in order for Boston to get out of the AL East basement.
