Ryan Sweeney finds his name atop the Red Sox lineup once again for the finale of a quick two-game series with Blake Beavan and the Seattle Mariners on Tuesday afternoon.

It's Sweeney's fifth start this season in the leadoff spot, where he's 5-for-21 on the season with an on-base percentage of .273. The outfielder is a .244 (57-234) lifetime hitter in the leadoff spot. He'll play center field.

David Ortiz and Adrian Gonzalez will look for continued success against Beavan. The two Boston sluggers are a combined 6-for-13 in their career against him, and Ortiz has a home run and three RBIs against the right-hander.

Josh Beckett gets the start for the Red Sox. He has a 6-2 career record against Seattle with a 3.39 ERA in nine starts.
