Tim Tebow Making an Impact on Madden 13 as 'Tebowing' Will Be Included in This Year's GameIf you thought "Tebowing" was over, think again.

The craze that swept the nation last football season is going to be a featured celebration in the new EA Sports Madden 13 video game, set to hit stores in August, according to Pro Football Talk.

Tim Tebow continues to have a stranglehold on NFL news. After captivating the football world with his improbable victories in Denver last season, Tebow was pushed out of town by Peyton Manning, sending newsrooms into hysteria over his next landing spot. Now, Tebow will make his mark on the newest version of EA Sport's yearly football game.

The Madden franchise has been treading water in recent years. The franchise has had exclusive rights to the NFL since 2004, but despite raving about new features every year, the game has become a recycled simulation. Updated rosters and a few bells and whistles do little to distract gamers from the lack of improvements.

This year, "Tebowing" is that feature meant to draw people back in. And it will sell, too, which is what keeps EA Sports complacent when it comes to the Madden franchise. Just as countless people have mistaken Tebow for a franchise quarterback, an equal number will mistake Madden's "Tebowing" feature as an improvement in the game.

Madden fans better hope the advertised improvement to the presentation and defensive gameplay overshadow a new celebration feature. Otherwise, they will be playing a familiar game for another year.
