Cavs Owner Dan Gilbert Congratulates Heat, But Doesn't Mention LeBron James (or Use Comic Sans)"I personally guarantee that the Cleveland Cavaliers will win an NBA championship before the self-titled former 'king' wins one."

Oops.

Those were the words of Cleveland Cavaliers owner Dan Gilbert just two summers ago. Like a jilted lover, Gilbert fired off a now infamous letter to Cavs fans after LeBron James made the "decision" to leave Cleveland for the Miami Heat.

Almost two full years later, James and the Heat are the NBA champions while the Cavs prepare to once again make a lottery section selection in the upcoming draft.

However, it appears that time has at least sutured up the wound inflicted upon Gilbert following James' departure, as the owner has been fairly civil in the hours following Miami's NBA title.

Gilbert used Twitter — not Comic Sans — this time around, congratulating the Heat. No mention, however, of LeBron James.
