Celtics-Heat Game Ended in a Tie, Maine TV Anchor Reports (Video)

Some people watching basketball take the game at face value — like those who didn't see anything wrong with the foul epidemic in Sunday night's Game 4.

Or, apparently, this TV anchor from Portland, Maine.

The woman holding down the Channel 8 WMTW desk on Sunday got the score to her viewers, all right — but she reported that the Boston Celtics and Miami Heat had battled to an 89-89 tie, theawesomeboston.com reports.

That was the score at the end of regulation, of course. The Celtics went on to win in overtime.

Here's guessing that real basketball fans weren't too worried that the game was called a draw after watching that newscast. See the hard-hitting report below.
