Daniel Nava, Kelly Shoppach Lead Red Sox Who Are Looking to Keep Up Heat Against OriolesEditor's note: The temperature gauge is a Bill James-created statistic that measures how hot or cold hitters are. We will spotlight Red Sox and opposing team temperatures on game days.

The Blue Jays cooled off the Red Sox' bats on Sunday, salvaging the series sweep, but Boston will aim to rekindle a fiery lineup as the Orioles come to town Tuesday.

Daniel Nava's streak of six consecutive games with a hit was snapped Sunday, but he's still batting .303. He has the highest hitting temperature of the lineup right now after driving in key runs in wins over Detroit and Toronto last week.

Kelly Shoppach has also done well as of late. Although not an everyday starter, Shoppach has made the most of his appearances behind the plate. He clubbed a homer on Sunday for Boston's only run and was 2-for-3 with two RBIs in one game the last time the Sox played Baltimore.

The O's also have a few guys ready to heat up even more. J.J. Hardy (3-for-5 in last game, five-game hitting streak) and Adam Jones (.315, 16 home runs) have been leading the Baltimore offense.
