David Stern to Jim Rome: 'Have You Stopped Beating Your Wife Yet?'Jim Rome knows how to get under someone's skin.

The longtime radio and TV personality was at it again on Wednesday afternoon while having a conversation with NBA commissioner David Stern.

According to Deadspin, the two got in a heated argument during a segment on the Jim Rome Show, Rome's daily radio show, after Rome asked Stern about whether or not the NBA draft lottery is fixed.

Believe it or not, Stern denied that the lottery is fixed, and then said to Rome, "Shame on you for asking."

Rome responded by saying that he felt it was his responsibility to ask the question. That's when the commissioner decided to drop the gloves and get after it.

"Have you stopped beating your wife yet?" Stern asked Rome.

Stern then accused Rome of looking for "cheap thrills" before saying Rome was "pouting."

He then ended the conversation by saying he needed to call someone more important — Stephen A. Smith
