The Kings are on the verge of their first Stanley Cup in franchise history. If and when they close out the Devils, it will mark the beginning of what should be an interesting offseason.

The Bruins have already been in the news of late after Tim Thomas‘ decision to sit out next season. They have Tuukka Rask ready to assume the team’s No. 1 goaltending position, but Thomas’ decision definitely creates some other questions — both in terms of the Bruins and when it comes to the NHL as a whole.

But what else will we see happen this offseason? There’s some big names out on the open market, and some others that have been tossed around in trade talks. Fortunately, NESN.com hockey writer Douglas Flynn is ready to discuss any topic you feel like chatting about.

Doug will be answering questions on NESN’s Twitter account on Wednesday at 7 p.m. ET.
