Kevin Youkilis Will Have to Make Some Changes as He Heads to Chicago White Sox

Kevin Youkilis has only worn socks of one color since he was drafted by the Red Sox in 2001. The homegrown player made his major league debut in 2004 and became an everyday starter two years later.

Now, Youk will have to get used to wearing a different pair of socks after he was traded to Chicago on Sunday. Youkilis' move to the Windy City is reminiscent of the one eight years ago that sent Nomar Garciaparra to the Cubs. Although Youkilis never achieved the cult status of Garciaparra during his career at Fenway, both players were popular with fans before their relationship with the club soured toward the end of their stay.

Will a change of scenery be what Youkilis needs to revert to the form that made him one of baseball's best on-base machines over the past five years?
