The NBA left Western Canada in 2001, which is a shame. The world certainly could have benefited from Metta World Peace delivering the weather report for Vancouver Island during his twice-yearly visits.
For some reason, the Los Angeles Lakers forward played weatherman for CTV in British Columbia. There is nothing that can be said for what ensued other than to say it was awkward, and it was spectacular.
