Could Rick Nash be heading to Philadelphia? Not if one player's infected foot has anything to say about it.
NBC 10's Howard Eskin is reporting that Nash is rumored to be in trade talks with the Flyers, but is being held up due to the delayed surgery James van Riemsdyk needs on a torn labrum. The Blue Jackets reportedly want to make sure the young Flyers forward is 100 percent healthy before getting involved in any swap talks.
General manager Paul Holmgren tells CSNPhilly that the surgery is being delayed because of an infection van Riemsdyk is suffering in his foot.

To continue Flyers like Rick Nash and a "possible" trade really can't happen until JVR is 100 percent. JVR delaying surgery on torn Labrum
