Sean 'P. Diddy' Combs' Son Given Full Football Scholarship by UCLARapper Sean Combs, better known as Puff Daddy, P. Diddy, or one of several other monikers throughout the years, is estimated to be worth half a billion dollars. Of the many people who help their children pay their way through college, Combs would not seem to be one who would fret over rising tuition costs.

And yet, because his son Justin Combs is so good at football, Diddy won't have to pay a cent.

That's because UCLA awarded the younger Combs, a cornerback, a full scholarship to play on its football team, according to CBS Los Angeles.

A recent graduate of New York City's Iona prep school and a good student who possesses a 3.75 GPA, Justin Combs impressed recruiters with his speed. But it's the money being offered to the son of the rap mogul — the scholarship is worth $54,000 annually — that's raising the eyebrows of others.

"UCLA’s athletic department needs to consider the fact that perhaps there is another athlete on the football team, who could perhaps really use this scholarship," said UCLA student Neshemah Keetin.

In a statement, UCLA emphasized that their athletic scholarships are based solely on athletic and academic ability, and not financial need.
