Tom Brady Opens Up About Life Away From Football, But Isn't Walking Away From Game 'Any Time Soon'There's good news for Patriots fans. Tom Brady plans to be around for a while.

The New England quarterback is getting up there in age — he'll be 35 when the season opens up — but he wants to keep playing for a while. Brady spoke with SI.com on Wednesday, and he was asked about his future in football.

"Well, I love doing it," Brady told SI.com. "I don't want to wake up and be bored. That's probably my greatest fear is to have nothing to do. What better job is there than to play quarterback for an NFL team, and certainly one that I've been on for a long time and had success with? I don't plan on giving it up any time soon."

The future Hall of Famer also talked about a variety of topics that have to do with life away from the gridiron, with those exploits sometimes getting just as much publicity as Brady's on-field play. For whatever reason, Brady's hairstyles continue to make headlines, and there are some who think it's his wife, supermodel Gisele Bundchen, who puts him up to it.

Brady said that's not necessarily the case, and also gave some dating advice in the process.

"She likes pretty much what I like," he told SI.com. "She leaves it to me. Every man should know, if you're comfortable and you like it, you should do it. Everyone always worries about what the girls think, what the guys think. If you like it, do it. To me, if you're trying to impress a girl, get a date, they're gonna like that more because you're a confident guy. That's what it comes down to."

Brady also spoke about attending Wes Welker's wedding this weekend ("Hell yeah" he'll dance at it), and that led to a discussion about Rob Gronkowski's partying habits. The quarterback was asked specifically about Gronkowski's appearance at a post-Super Bowl party where the tight end was seen dancing around on a bum ankle.

"Everyone's blowing off steam," Brady told the website. "It was unfortunate we were in a public place. I wish we, as players, had a private place to go. He's a great guy. He loves football. What he's accomplished over two years has been remarkable."
