Kobe Bryant Believes Team USA Basketball Players Should Lose Citizenship If They Don't Win Olympic GoldThe USA men's Olympic basketball team is littered with talent from wall to wall. So much so that team leader Kobe Bryant said that members of the USA team should have their citizenship revoked, should they return home from London with anything less than gold.

Now, this is a little extreme for Bryant to say, although he has been very vocal since joining the squad out in Los Angeles. Team USA is 2-0 so far in the prelims, winning against Brazil and the Dominican Republic.

The 2012 team has been constantly compared to the 1992 "Dream Team" in recent weeks. The question has been asked back and forth is, could the 2012 team beat the likes of Larry Bird, Magic Johnson and Michael Jordan?

This will probably be the last run at gold as a player for Bryant, who turns 34 in August. But there are plenty of young guns on this USA team to keep Bryant fresh and energized. Two-time scoring champion Kevin Durant is coming of the bench, along with teammates Russell Westbrook and James Harden. The starting five consists of NBA champions and All-Stars such as Tyson Chandler, Carmelo Anthony, LeBron James, Chris Paul and Bryant.

With Dwight Howard not competing in the games, the USA is extremely thin up front, leaving Chandler as the only true center. So, if Bryant doesn't feel like relocating his family to a different country, he better keep Chandler and the rest of the big men focused on getting the gold.
