Alex Morgan has finally arrived as an American athlete. The United States Women’s National Team striker is big time enough to give U.S. Soccer a tour of her house — MTV Cribs-style.

Morgan, 23, rose to prominence with the U.S. women’s team in the 2011 FIFA Women’s World Cup. Her combination of speed and technique made her a dangerous impact substitute — best exemplified by her goals against France (in the semifinals) and Japan (in the final which the U.S. eventually lost on penalties).

The former California Golden Bear has been tabbed for big things. Recently nominated for “breakthrough athlete of the year” at this year’s ESPY awards, Morgan’s real breakthrough into prime-time came when she let U.S. Soccer’s cameras inside her family’s beautiful Diamond Bar, Calif. home.

Showing off her wide collection of trophies, including her Silver Ball award from the 2008 U-20 World Cup, along with her family’s varied pets, Morgan discussed her path to American soccer fame.

Touching on her teenage obsession of Elvis Presley and a love for the great outdoors, Morgan’s interview revealed why she is on the cusp of becoming the face of women’s soccer in this country for the next decade.
