Michael Vick Gets Advice on Playing Football, Staying Healthy From President Barack ObamaPresident Obama doesn’t want anyone getting hurt — especially on the football field.

So, when Obama isn’t taking care of the United States’ domestic and foreign affairs, he’s apparently trying to find a way to keep Eagles quarterback Michael Vick safe. Vick has a long history of serious injuries — most of them from being hit while scrambling.

Obama says he wants Vick to slide to avoid taking big –- and potentially dangerous -– hits.

Obama first shared his opinion when he met up with Philadelphia cornerback Nnamdi Asomugha at an event in Oakland, Calif. The two talked football, with Obama offering up the sliding advice and asking Asomugha to pass the message along to Vick.

Vick apparently didn’t think it was a bad idea. He responded to Obama on Twitter, thanking him for the advice. Check out the tweet below.
