It will be an interesting weekend outside Beaver Stadium.

A Friday report from Kim Jones of NFL Network indicated that the Penn State Board of Trustees voted to remove Joe Paterno's statue this weekend. Bonnie Bernstein even confirmed the report, citing a conference call on Thursday night.

Tell that to Penn State board member Ryan McCombie, who told StateCollege.com reporter Laura Nichols that the Penn State board "did no such thing."

Fellow board member Anthony Lubrano says no vote has taken place. Furthermore, Lubrano stated that the decision to remove the statue would be the school administration's, not the board of trustees.

Dan Patrick Show producer Paul Pabst was told by a Penn State spokesman they were "not aware of any decision being made about the statue."
